English and Norwegian knitting pattern (digital PDF).
The Alma Neck is first worked in the round in a textured stitch pattern to shape the neck. Stitches are then bound off at the back of the neck, after which the front section is worked back and forth. Finally, the neck is folded double to the inside, creating a neat neckline and a warm, snug-fitting collar that is highly elastic and comfortable to pull over the head.
